Our dinosaur is gone.

No, I'm not talking about the famous Bayville dinosaur, WOBM had a dinosaur to call our own. Then, it went mysteriously extinct.

Here's a little background - back in October, our parent company, Townsquare Media, held a Halloween costume contest for each office in the company. Our office decided to do a Jurassic Park theme. People dressed up as characters from the movie, complete with blow up dinosaurs to terrorize them.

After the Halloween fun, our officemates from Townsquare Events, donated a dino to each radio station.

Here are the dinosaurs from our sister stations 94.3 The Point and 105.7 The Hawk:

WOBM appropriately got a brontosaurus, just like the Bayville dinosaur. We named it "Obie" (get it, W "OB" M?).

Obie lived in the WOBM studio happily for many months.

Then, one day, Obie was gone.

I checked the other studios here at the office, but he was nowhere to be found. The other dinosaurs were still happily keeping our fellow DJs company at our sister stations, but Obie had gone extinct.

Understandably, our colleagues at Townsquare Events were sad to hear of Obie's disappearance. Almost as sad as the now dinosaur-less WOBM studio.

If you're out there somewhere, Obie, come back, we miss you!
