Who doesn't love The Muppets? With the recent success of 2011's "The Muppets" movie, and last year's "Muppets Most Wanted", the plucky puppets could be returning to their roots with a TV comeback.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Bill Prady, who's one of the producers of "The Big Bang Theory", is working on shooting a pilot, which would be presented as a possible series starter.

One of the really cool parts is the fact that Bill Prady started his career working with Jim Henson and the Muppets in the 1980s. So it would be run by someone intimately familiar with the beloved gang, not someone new trying to replicate what everyone loves about Kermit and the gang.

The story is that they're working on that pilot now, and the call could be made as early as next month on whether to give the green light to a new TV series. We'll definitely keep you updated!

So what do you think, would you like to see The Muppets come back to TV?
