The Monmouth vs. Ocean School Spirit Champion Is…

After 5 weeks and a stunning total of over 33,000 votes, we have a winner in our all-shore matchup of Monmouth vs. Ocean to see who has the best school spirit at the shore!

As you know, it all came down to Manchester Township High School representing Ocean County and Matawan Regional High School for Monmouth County.

If I have to be brutally honest, it was never even close.

Manchester got out to a quick lead right off the bat and never looked back.

Not only did they hold their lead all week long, but the lead got so wide that it was a blowout in the end.

Here's the final count:

That's right, Manchester beat Matawan by almost 4,000 votes!

So as with our Mascot Madness competition back in the spring, Ocean County will hold on to the bragging rights as we show our neighbors to the north who owns the shore school spirit title!

Congratulations to not only Manchester Township High School, but to all of Ocean County for coming together and beating Monmouth once again!
