The Mill at Spring Lake Heights Closing Restaurant And Rebranding

Whether you got married there or have simply enjoyed a fabulous brunch or nice meal there, big changes are coming to The Mill at Spring Lake Heights.

The Asbury Park Press reports the property has been sold to the family that owns Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant. The new owners will be rebranding the space as The Mill Lakeside Manor, which will not include a public restaurant.

It will primarily be used as a wedding venue, and the building will see some indoor and outdoor renovations. What is now the restaurant will be used for pre- and post-wedding event space.

The new owners told the APP that they will be honoring any of The Mill's special events contracts through 2019.

I have to say I'm thoroughly saddened to find out this restaurant is closing. It certainly wasn't the kind of place I'd go everyday since it's a little on the fancy side, but I always thought the food there was delicious!

Even more devastating is losing such a signature place for brunch! The Mill was such a go-to for Mother's Day, Easter, or ANYTIME you wanted a great brunch experience.

I'm so beyond bummed about this news! I've attended so many weddings at The Mill, and actually almost booked it for my own wedding!

That said, Clarks Landing is a GORGEOUS wedding venue, and the family is sure to do great things for an already wonderful venue in The Mill.
