For well over 25 years, the Knights of Columbus, Council 4969, Toms River, has carried out a charitable project known as the Christmas Food Basket program.  The program provides for local needy families at Christmas time and is one of many charitable programs that the Knights are involved with.  On Saturday, December 17, some 150 families will receive boxes of various basic food items that will provide for several meals, not only on Christmas day itself.

The Knights of Columbus Council 4969 is once again helping out the community with this years Christmas Food Basket Program. The KOC are setting up food donations for neighbors with enough food for each Family for not only the Holidays, but for up to two weeks. This year the Knights of Columbus hope to feed 150 locally in the Toms River area.

  • Thursday Dec 15th 6 PM Food will be delivered to the council home
  • Friday Dec 16th 7 PM Food boxes will be packed.  This is where the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and other groups as will as citizens off the street come and help
  • Saturday Dec 17th 8 AM  Food boxes will be delivered to families around the area
