Just about this time last year, social media was all abuzz with sightings of MTV's "Jersey Shore" cast all up and down Monmouth & Ocean Counties.

We later learned that they were filming "Jersey Shore Family Reunion", which apparently wasn't going to shoot in Seaside Heights.

But just yesterday, the original cast was spotted right where it all began.

As we can see in these Instagram posts, they were hanging on the boardwalk and at Spicy Cantina:

Whether they're still in town as we head into the early 4th of July weekend isn't clear as of right now, but if you plan to head to Seaside Heights or Seaside Park, you may have your very own Snooki sighting.
