Last week, the Internet was amazed by Hollywood high technology allegedly coming to life in the real world.

A company called HUVrTech allegedly made a real, working hoverboard, a la Back to the Future II. Skateboarding star Tony Hawk and "Doc Brown" himself, Christopher Lloyd were both in the video, trying out the tech.

Naturally, people were suspicious from the beginning. It wasn't even a full day later when evidence came out to suggest that the whole thing was a prank by comedy website Funny or Die.

And now, we have conclusive admissions from the stars themselves. Here, Tony Hawk apologizes for hoodwinking us, and gives us a look behind the scenes:
