The Hotel Minibar..Yay or Nay

A huge Nay because soon we will be saying bye bye to the in-room mini-bar.  They are becoming extinct.  The minibar-- where you can get those little expensive bottles of booze right in your hotel room are soon going to not be available to you.  I don't believe I have ever used a hotel mini-bar..maybe a soda?  It's getting too expensive for hotels to actually keep it because people are stealing the little bottles.

In a recent Tripadvisory poll only 21% of travelers care if there's a minibar or not.

Did you ever use the minibar?  Would you not stay at a hotel if they didn't have a minibar?
