As we make our way through the first full week of the new year, a gentle snow has been falling over Ocean County throughout the day. I'll be honest - I'm not a fan of snow, but when it's like it is today, it's not all that bad.

It hasn't been causing too many headaches, the major roads have been mostly pre-treated and aren't too much of a travel hassle, the light falling of the snow isn't impacting visibility too badly, and it's sticking to trees and grass just enough to look nice.

I should make note of this article, it's not often that I actually say positive things about snow.

The bad news is that over the next couple of days it's going to be absolutely bone chillingly cold. Remember the 60 degree day over the weekend? It'll be a distant memory when we get down into the teens tonight and face possible below zero wind chills as the week goes on.

So how's the weather in your neighborhood? Tell us in the comments!
