One of the Jersey Shore's best kept secrets isn't a secret any longer, as Asbury Park continues to enjoy national accolades.

Of course, Asbury has gotten well deserved attention for its music scene for ages, but it's just recently that it's become more of a well rounded destination, with a shout out to one of, "the best new hotels in the world", and the Silverball Museum getting the prize for the best attraction in the state recently.

And now, just this week Travel + Leisure called Asbury Park, "The Coolest Place on the Jersey Shore".

The magazine says that Asbury, "has become an unlikely cultural hub on the Jersey Shore", giving kudos to the iconic Asbury Lanes, showing some love for the fantastic food scene, and noting the town's eclectic shops and welcoming culture (drag bingo, anyone?).

And of course, you can't help but notice the public art decorating the boardwalk from end to end.
