The Christmas Flower’s Special Day Today

…well I always think of that as the Poinsettia.

facebook

Today is National Poinsettia Day.  What does this mean, well not too much other than I enjoy a good Poinsettia.  They’re beautiful, the full ones, the bright red ones.  They have several colors…white and the jingle bell, which is the lighter one with pink and green vanes going through it.  But I never can have Poinsettias just in case my puppy might eat it, it’s not safe for dogs.  So I can only admire from afar.  Do you like Poinsettias?

How do you pronounce Poinsettia?  P-o-i-n-s-e-t-t-a or P-o-i-n-s-e-t-t-i-a?
