The Caravan is Coming! Open the Gates or Call in the Militia?

It's being called a "caravan" of nearly five to seven thousand immigrants, mostly from Central America, marching through Mexico en route to the United States. Some reports are now citing the "caravan" may head to Tijuana and possibly look to cross just South of San Diego, California.

I'm sure there are many stories of the immigrants looking to enter the U.S., but we have immigration laws and our nation needs laws and borders to remain a sovereign nation. That's my opinion. I'm sure many would be better off here in America, but they need to follow the law and do it legally. We just can't open Southern California up to thousands of illegal immigrants who are breaking our laws.

Am I way off here? We need laws and protocol for immigration. Or is that outdated thinking?
