The BlueClaws Return To Lakewood To Play For The Crown!

As we told you about on Monday, the Lakewood BlueClaws are locked in a battle for another South Atlantic League Championship against the Rome Braves. With the series now tied, the fight for the crown rolls into Ocean County tomorrow.

The BlueClaws handled the Braves on Monday, taking Game 1 with a 5-0 shutout. They dropped the next game, however, by a score of 1-6.

What that means now though, is that the teams will head into FirstEnergy Park for at least the next two games in the best of five series.

The remaining schedule is as follows:

Thursday 9/15 vs. Rome – 7:05pm
Friday 9/16 vs. Rome – 7:05pm
Saturday 9/17 vs. Rome – 7:05pm (If Necessary)

It's sure to be a great series, as one of the teams will be celebrating a championship by the time the end of this weekend rolls around!
