The Berkeley Eagles Bring More Winning Hardware Home to Ocean County

The Berkeley Eagles Youth Cheerleaders and Football players once again distinguished themselves as among the best in the country.

Continuing their winning streak, the various teams continued rolling past the competition by bringing home more trophies.

Eagles Public Relations Representative Chris Petrich broke down this year's honors:

• The Division 8 Cheerleaders proved their skill by placing 1st in both The Jersey Shore Competition and The Big East Regional Championships. They also took home the 5th place trophy at the AYC National Championships.

• The Division 10 Cheerleaders matched them, also taking home #1 honors at both The Jersey Shore Competition and The Big East Regional Championships. They also brought the 4th place AYC National Championships trophy back to Ocean County.

• The Division 12 Cheerleaders brought home a 4th place trophy at The Jersey Shore Competition, 3rd place honors at The Big East Regional Championships, and kept the momentum rolling to a 3rd place finish at the AYC National Championships.

• The Division 15 Cheerleaders proved their dominance with an undefeated clean sweep, grabbing the top honors in The Jersey Shore Competition, The Big East Regional Championships, and the AYC National Championships.

The Eagles also continued to stand out in Youth Football, with three players, Daryn Blackwell, Blake Horgan and Eric Luna, representing their teammates on the undefeated NJAYF All-Star Team.
