A couple of weeks ago I told you about this great tip that I came across online - filling a sock with cat litter and placing it in your car will put an end to annoying foggy windows. As promised, I gave it a try.

The first trick was, for a dog owner, coming up with some kitty litter. Thankfully, my mother was happy to share some of hers. Then came the challenge of trying to actually get the litter into the sock.

I ended up cutting a Snapple bottle in half and using the spout end as a funnel, which worked out pretty well.

I filled the sock, wrapped it in another sock, set it on my dashboard, and let it sit overnight.

The last few days have actually been good days to give this a try too - it's been pretty mild during the days, and chilly and damp at night.

On the first day, I had a little film on my windows, but they didn't fog up as much as they normally do with this kind of weather.

When I got into my car last night after work, my back window only had a little bit of fog on it, not nearly as much as usual.

It's been a few days now, I assume it takes some time for the litter to actually absorb all of the moisture in the car, and I'm very interested to see how the experiment progresses after some time.

Have you given the kitty litter in a sock trick a try? Let me know if it's worked out for you!
