As we embark on a historic Election Day in Ocean County, we want to know what the scene is like at your polling places.

While I didn't have to wait to vote at my polling place, I did notice that business was more brisk than in the past.

On Election Day, I always swing by my local polling place on my way to work. I get into work at Noon during the week, so I'm usually stopping by to vote around 11am or so.

At that time of day, I normally breeze right in, do what I need to do, and head to the office.

But today, while I only had to wait for one person ahead of me to check in, I did notice a lot more activity than in the past.

My polling place holds booths for a trio of districts, so while I didn't have to wait, there were a good number more people signing in and voting for my neighboring districts as well. More than I've seen in the past.

I think it's an indication that this year more than ever, passions are running high as we mercifully head into the final hours of the 2016 race.

What have you noticed at your polling places? Are they busier than normal? Quieter than in the past? Comment below and let us know!
