Teen Center in Brick Opens Today

Today, Thursday November 2nd, 2017, is the Grand Opening of Lounge 270 Teen Center - a safe place for teenagers to hangout and parents to know their kids are safe.

According to the brick patch, the Grand Opening will be tonight at 6 pm.  The Teen Center is located at the Brick Township Civic Center, 270 Chambersbridge Road in Brick.

Lounge 270 was funded with a $25,000 grant by the Ocean Partnership for Children.  The Mayor's Brick Youth Council along with students from Brick and Brick Memorial high schools wanted not only a place to socialize with games and activities but also as a place for students to get homework help also.

Tonight beginning at 6 pm, there will be food, refreshments, music, a rock climbing wall, and so much more and a membership card for the first 500 teens that come out for the Grand Opening!  CLICK HERE for more information!

In my opinion this is just plain awesome, more towns in Ocean and Monmouth County need this!  Great job Brick!
