Once again we're sitting here enjoying an unseasonably warm day, with thermometers sneaking well into the 60s in some parts of Ocean County, and we're about to get a rude reminder that it is indeed still winter.
As the snow is mostly tapering off throughout Ocean County (we're even seeing some breaks of sun here at the WOBM studios in Toms River), don't let the clearing skies fool you, we have a whole other round of dangerous conditions on the way.
As I sit here writing about an imminent snowstorm, it's weird to see the sun shining brightly and temperatures in Ocean County reaching the mid-60's.
But we are indeed expecting an appreciable impact as we head into Thursday. So I figured this would be as good a time as ever to remind everyone of some of the important rules of the road when winter weather hits.
As we get set to deal with our first snow of winter 2016-2017, it's a good time to remind Ocean County drivers of a few things that seem obvious and some others that you may not think of until it's too late.
