Amid the animosity thrown at New Jersey Congressional Republicans over attendance at public meetings in their districts, or lack of it, no one's been lobbing slurs at Democrats. So it seems likely that Monmouth Democrat Frank Pallone (D-6) can expect a comparative walk in the park when he conducts one on Sunday, March 26, in Highland Park.

While state lawmakers work through Governor Chris Christie's budget and reform proposals, the chief executive brings his case to taxpayers starting Tuesday in Freehold.

Gov. Chris Christie is lobbying lawmakers to renew a law that caps arbitration pay increase awards for public sector workers at 2 percent.
