I really do enjoy traveling. I love the opportunity to see interesting places far away from home and have unique and fun experiences. But there's still nothing like coming home.
A couple of months ago I wrote about some tips for a better night's sleep. We discussed having a quiet, cool bedroom, giving yourself time to wind down, and taking the TV out of the bedroom. My mother emailed me this morning with some additional sleep tips that she thought would be worth updating you on.
I am not ashamed to be the first to admit that I am terrible at math. If it weren't for calculators, I have no doubt that I'd still be counting on my fingers. That being said, I'm convinced that we all become complex mathematical geniuses in the middle of the night. Here's what I mean by that:
I had a funny situation happen last night/this morning. I sent text messages to two completely different friends a little after 10:00 last night. I didn't hear back from either at the time because both were asleep. They both responded a little after 6:00 this morning when I was fast asleep. It made me wonder about phone etiquette.
