A onetime special police officer in Seaside Heights, terminated after his 2015 arrest on child pornography charges, enters a guilty plea, and now waits to see how many years in prison it will cost him.
Last summer, participants in the Seaside Semper Five race never had a chance to finish the race. That's because shortly before it began, an explosion rocked the area near the starting line, an act that turned into a terror investigation stretching from Ocean County to New York City.
:"We made our decision immediately and we wanted to come back bigger and strong. And the way the numbers are going so far this year it looks like there's going to be a lot more people," race director Frank Costello told New Jersey 101.5 about this 2017 race
