With the memory of the Newtown Connecticut school massacre still fresh in many people's minds, Governor Christie's NJ SAFE Task Force has held the first of 3 planned public hearings this week, to gather ideas and suggestions about how to reduce gun violence in the Garden state.
The Governor's NJ Safe Task Force is hoping to hear from ordinary residents this week on how to keep schools and neighborhoods safe as well as how to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. That's the objective of three public hearings taking place in Camden, Lincroft and Newark this week.
