Restore The Shore

There are two High Schools here in Ocean County, both affected greatly ..... as was our entire area, by Hurricane Sandy ... that are in the running for a complete "Prom" package for it's children.

One of the last things that people thought of when Hurricane Sandy came through and devastated Ocean County was, "how are we going to put on a prom next year?". But after the waters receded, the damage was assessed, and reality sunk in, students at Toms River High School North were left wondering that very question.

Months after Hurricane Sandy devastated the Jersey shore, all kinds of debris is still being pulled from our waterways. Take a look at this video of salvage work in the Barnegat Bay:
