Residents of one New Jersey Shore town are being urged to be extra careful outside as officials investigate what they're calling a "possible rabies epidemic."
So Day One: I set the trap up complete with some tasty treats, including peanut butter and cat food and left the lights off so not to scare Mrs Raccoon, although I think she's past lights at this point .... no sounds from the cage and I left for work at 3:45 am .... however my Wife sent me a pic once it was light this morning and here's the results from our first night ....

They're back! the raccoons are back and trying to get into our house! I woke up this morning (Friday) at around 12:30 am to the sound of claws! Mrs Raccoon was up on our roof trying to find a way inside! Luckily for us she didn't get in, but we caught her red-handed and after hitting the roof with flashlights we spotted her and after my wife and I ran around the house a few times, in our pj's ..
