There are few things less pleasant these days than having to call a huge company's customer service line. I had this pleasure at 9:00 last night. And it went pretty much as you'd expect.
A couple of weeks ago I told you about this great tip that I came across online - filling a sock with cat litter and placing it in your car will put an end to annoying foggy windows. As promised, I gave it a try.
As I was walking in to a local convenience store just a few minutes ago, a man was walking in only a few steps in front of me. Rather than looking over his shoulder to see if anyone was behind him, he let the door close right in my face.
This is a trick I have to try!
Over the weekend, I spent a good 10 minutes with my defroster going full blast in the car before I could safely go anywhere. And, since I drive a stick shift, I don't have the luxury of an autostarter to defrost the car before I get into it. According to this Internet tipster, all it takes to solve the problem is a pair of socks and some kitty litter.

Take a look at that picture above - that right there is one of my biggest pet peeves that can be experienced when out shopping. I call it "the Shopping Cart Catastrophe".
I'm sure we've all seen those bad parkers - people who take up multiple spots, park in the middle of a lot, or park cockeyed and can't be bothered to straighten out. Well a college student in NJ decided to get back at a bad parker. Check out the video to see the driver's reaction:
There are so many things in the world that are small, pointless, don't mean anything, but drive us nuts regardless. That picture above is one of those things.
Put these kids on "Shark Tank"!
How many times have you gone to squirt ketchup on a burger and gotten a watery mess? It's one of those problems that we've all experienced but probably haven't given much thought to. Well two high schoolers in Missouri have given it a whole lot of thought, and invented a brilliant solution. Watch for yourself:
I get chills just from hearing a phrase like this - "your technician appointment is between 10am and 4pm next Tuesday". Waiting for a service technician, installer, delivery, etc has to be one of the worst things in the world.
You've probably noticed that one of my favorite topics to write about is pet peeves. We all have those things that irritate the heck out of us, and we all need to vent. When a friend of mine posted this picture on Facebook, I couldn't let it go without comment.
