Memorial Day is just a couple of weeks away. It's a day a lot of us have off, we celebrate with family and friends as we welcome Summer, and most important we celebrate, honor, and remember those who served and lost their lives.

Tourism is a year round business in Ocean County...but what happens before and after beach season that keeps people coming back?

These parades are an awesome way to wear your red, white, and blue.  There are several parades and ceremonies right here in Ocean County.

It's St. Patrick's Day, 2014 today, and the Jersey Shore traditions have already happened - the Seaside Heights parade (our 30th) was last weekend. Belmar held their annual march a couple weekends ago, even Asbury Park joined in on the fun this year with their inaugural St. Patrick's Day parade. But one of the most unique American St. Patrick's Day traditions happens in the heartland...

The first St. Patrick's Day Parade was not in the States
