Ocean County Columbus Day Parade and Italian Festival

Wow, what a mild winter this was.  While we only had a handful of snow events, it was pretty darn cold at times.  Many of us are counting the days till the Summer season.  But while we all get set for sunbathing and surf, the Ocean County Columbus Day Parade Committee is hard at work at planning their big event taking place in October.

Ocean County’s Columbus Day Parade isn’t complete without a Grand Marshal and this year the honor goes to local Italian specialty food store owner and philanthropist Joseph Leone-Introna.

It's time to submit a nomination for the person you believe would best represent Ocean County's Italian culture and heritage this year.
