It's a coffeehouse. It's a bookstore. It's BOTH! And it's coming soon to a historic section of Gloucester Township, New Jersey.

Apparently, I was one of the few that did get a "whiff" of what was happening in Brick Plaza.

Now, this place is literally brand new, it opened on December 1st. I haven't had the chance to try it yet and I don't have a ton of information, but I want to be one of the first people to publicly congratulate The White Owl Restaurant.

There really is nothing better than highlighting a brand new Jersey Shore business. Local, fresh, and delicious are the three words that best describe this up-and-coming Monmouth County spot...

I have actually been craving BBQ the last few days and now I am writing an article about a brand new Monmouth County BBQ joint. My mouth is watering and I am in desperate need of baby back ribs... extra BBQ sauce, PLEASE!

Eating pizza, great! Eating pizza and supporting local animal shelters, EVEN BETTER! Earlier this year, Rocco's Pizza opened on Main Street in Bradley Beach. Not only does Rocco's Pizza host Italian favorites created by an award-winning chef, but they only serve customers flavorful food crafted with high-quality ingredients. The deals are great and the more they serve the more they help! Rocco's Pizza donates part of its profits to local animal shelters in the name of the owner's first family rescue dog, Rocco.

More good news coming out of Point Pleasant Beach... A HUGE congratulations to Kale Yeah Salad Shop for its recent opening. This new salad shop offers a tasty and healthier option for those in Ocean County. Kale Yeah Salad Shop is located at 516 Bay Ave in Point Pleasant Beach. They are open daily from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm - you can also call them at 732.451.7720.

I love when new businesses open in Ocean County.

It's always sweet when a locally grown business does well. In this case, it is a sweet business...literally. One of the Jersey Shore's top-rated ice cream shops is expanding from 2 to 3 locations. Here's the SCOOP.

Remember Jack's Tavern? Many Belmar locals, including myself, wish it was still around. The LIVE music was great, the food was solid, and how can anyone forget about the freshly squeeze screwdrivers? Now the vacant building on 10th ave is getting a facelift and to be honest, I have no idea what's going on?!
