Restauranteur Louis Cataldo of Point Pleasant can expect to spend up to 12 years in a state prison for shooting his manager outside his Brielle bistro and holding police at bay for eight hours at his house in 2013.

Louis Cataldo, the club owner who admitted shooting an employee outside the establishement in Brielle and forcing police into an eight-hour standoff at his Point Pleasant house can expect a 12-year prison term when he's sentenced July 17.

Jury selection is slated to begin Wednesday in the trial of the owner of the Sand Bar Restaurant in Brielle on attempted murder and other charges, according to the Asbury Park Press.

The owner of the Sand Bar in Brielle will either enter guilty pleas or stand trial for the shooting of his general manager outside the club last June.
