Ever done this or had it done to you? You pass by a neighbor's trash can and toss a coffee cup or banana peel into it? In the state of New Jersey, is it illegal?
The definition of a slob is “a person who is lazy and has low standards of cleanliness” and is this the case for many ? Let’s face it the litter didn’t end up on the ground through any fault of nature ….. it is US!
I was recently scrolling through Facebook and I saw something that caught my attention. It's something that defiantly needs to be highlighted and recognized for all Jersey Shore residents to see. Most of us love the beach and we take pride in keeping our towns clean, so I think this is just the beginning of what will be a forever known Jersey Shore organization.
Is It Too Much to Ask to Keep Our Boardwalks Clean? Is it too much to ask to keep our beautiful boardwalks clean and litter free? Is it to hard to use the many trash receptacles that are located along most of the Jersey Shore boardwalks? It's a problem many towns are facing this summer and the question I have to ask is why?
I often go around and take photos at our area beaches and I often see litter and debris. I do think that we as a society have gotten better at not polluting, but I think we still need some work. It's simple .... if you brought it, take it with you and properly dispose of it!

Hopefully most of us don't need a reminder to not be scumbags, but if this video reminds just one person to not leave their trash on our beaches, it's worth it.
