The Christie Administration is expanding the state's reNew Jersey Stronger housing initiative with a $70 million Landlord Rental Repair Program.

During a visit to Brick Township today, Governor Christie launched a $100 million home elevation program in areas hardest hit by Superstorm Sandy.

They came to Monmouth County following Sandy and allegedly submitted estimates to undercover investigators to perform repairs.  Now, eight unregistered home improvement contractors have been criminally charged or civilly cited for allegedly violating the state's Home Improvement Contractors' Registration Act.

About 2,700 New Jersey homeowners will get federal grants to elevate homes damaged by Superstorm Sandy.
