Driving down Atlantic City Boulevard, aka Route 9, in Bayville on Wednesday night I noticed a sign. Big, bright, red, and yellow; it caught my attention. I pulled over and went on in to discover and welcome a new business to town.

The NJWMA is announcing that Tracy Brito Denora of Toms River will become their new Executive Director and in doing so she will be the first woman to lead the Association as its Executive Director.

So you may have heard the term “Feng shui” ? It deals with architecture and placement of items (furniture) in certain ways to best suite the owners. Well maybe you have needed to adjust your “Feng shui” during COVID.

Over the weekend I had a charity truck come to my house and take away some furniture I was getting rid of.  It was a win-win.  They will sell it at their thrift store, and I’ve cleared space in my home. With the weather so lovely, did you find yourself out in the garage...

When I was a kid, I always enjoyed playing in my parents' bedroom.  I remember opening and closing the dresser drawers and cabinet doors again and again.  I'm not sure why I was so drawn to their furniture.  I just loved the way it looked...

Wouldn't it be nice to wake up every morning, walk into the bathroom looking tired and disheveled, gaze into the mirror, and have it spit out a lovely motivational snippet? I think it would be a great way to start the day. And so do the folks at Ikea. Check out Ikea's "Motivational Mirror":
