Exit 90

We had quite the situation yesterday, with conflicting reports from various agencies about the status of Parkway Exit 90 Northbound in Brick. Today, we're getting a little more clarity.

UPDATE - According to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and the TRANSCOM traffic service, conflicting information has lead to confusion over the status of Exit 90 over the next few days.

Heads up Ocean County drivers - this week, your evening commute or night time errands may be impacted by the ongoing Garden State Parkway work.

It's an annoyance to be driving through constant Parkway construction in Ocean County, but it's definitely nice when we get to see and use the results of all of those delays and lane closures. This week, Exit 89 in Brick/Lakewood is open for business.

When you drive the same way to and from work every day you start to learn the idiosyncrasies of the area. And, if you're like me, you get to know the general timing of the traffic lights, too. Until, of course, they change them.

We've talked before about how the construction on The Garden State Parkway is causing commuter headaches for Ocean County residents and workers. Just when I thought that the closures, lane changes, and shifts couldn't get more confusing, I hopped on at exit 90 last week.
