Easter

It's something I do every year!  Head to Jenkinson's in Pt. Pleasant and get a great discount in their "BIG" Easter two for one deal!

If you're anything like my family, you love going out for Easter.

This is always fun!  We thank River Rock Restaurant and Marina Bar, in Brick,  for always hosting it!

I was in a store this past weekend, and I saw this on the shelves!  All the adorable bunnies and bright colors, it reminds us of Spring.

I took that picture above inside of a Toms River pharmacy and convenience store a good two and a half weeks ago. I was going to write about how Christmas was barely over and it wasn't even the new year yet, and they were already pushing Valentine's Day. But I'm glad I didn't write about it, because it makes this display below, spotted a few days ago by a friend, even more confounding:

I'll start with a disclaimer - I'm not a parent. I'm simply an outsider looking in on this phenomena. Although, in fairness, I was a kid once and I remember things being distinctly different than they are today.

Easter is such a special time for me.  My Easter memories are some of the best in my childhood--from our tree being decorated with balloons outside in different colors to finding the Easter basket in the washer, dryer and the bathtub every year when I was younger.

A bunny won't be the only animal you associate with Easter after watching this.
