If I didn't have good eyes when I was out running errands this morning, I'd probably be getting a new tire right now. There was a huge pothole that I was able to safely avoid at the last minute right in the middle of Jack Martin Blvd in Brick.

By now you know that one of my pet peeves this time of year is people who don't bother to clear snow off of their cars. And it's not just me, the State thinks that it's important enough to make it a law to clear all of the snow from your car before going on the road. Apparently this driver didn't get the memo:

This is a topic that I've visited before (in fact, I briefly touched on it just yesterday), but it still blows my mind how people just don't get it. Snow is inconvenient. Over the past few weeks, a lot of us played what I call "the parking lot game". You know how it goes - you drive in circles, up and down rows at the shopping center in hopes of scoring a good spot. Especially with the warmer than usual weather than we've had in the past few weeks, you've probably gone out to your car at night and had to wait a few minutes for your defoggers to do their jobs. I'll be the first to admit that driving, and New Jersey road issues are probably the topics that I complain about the most. And I was getting ready to start grumbling again today because of something that we all see way too often, when it took a surprising turn.

A disclaimer first - even though that car says "Student Driver", it wasn't a student driving it when I passed it on the Parkway. Or, rather, I should say when it passed me. Very, very quickly.
