Wednesday was a simply beautiful February day and a perfect time to take a ride over the bridge to Seaside Heights. Although it’s off season there was a bunch of activity.
On a drive through Stafford Township in Southern Ocean County recently I spotted the beginning of a big clearing project. Lots of land clearing machinery and they have a large section of land along Route 9 in Manahawkin transforming into something and that’s the million dollar question!
Out and about I saw this project in Monmouth County. I was traveling along Route 138 in Wall Township when I spotted this construction project. Of course I may have overlooked any signs detailing the work, but I am almost sure I didn’t see any description of the project.
So I am continuing my tour of Ocean County and looking at some of the latest construction that is going on here at the Jersey Shore. I feel any new construction is hopefully an improvement to our community and in these times it means jobs and future business...
So I was driving through Toms River when I noticed this construction project that is underway at Route 166 and Indian Head Road....so I was curious to see if we know what this project is going to be?
Now the question is what is now being built at the former Sonic location on Route 9 in Waretown? As you can see from the photos above, the building is getting a do-over and as we passed by I asked myself “what is going in there?”
A construction worker was brought to Jersey Shore University Medical Center on Tuesday after an accident occurred at a job site that sent him into a ditch.
