I live alone. I have nobody to impress. I'll be honest, when it's laundry day, I just wad up the fitted bed sheet and stuff it into my linen closet. Trying to figure out how to get fitted sheets nice and flatly folded is a huge pain so, honestly, I don't even bother. But I'll definitely give this technique a shot when I get home. What is your worst chore at home ?

I was not a happy camper this morning. As all people who live in condominium developments do, I pay an association fee monthly. That fee is supposed to cover landscaping, outdoor maintenance, and snow removal. But instead, I woke up to an untouched winter wonderland.

There's a debate going on in our household.    Is it better to mow your own lawn or pay soneone to do it?  All the rain we've had this summer has made the grass grow lke crazy!   If, like me, you hate to see the man of the house 'waste' precious free weekend hours behind a mower than you probably think it's worth it to pay for lawn service...

One of the lines I keep going back to is, "being an adult is no fun". There's paperwork, chores, and of course this time of year, taxes, among the myriad of things that adults have to do for themselves.

I spent part of my vacation pondering the year ahead.  What do I want it to look like?  What positive changes can I make?  Have you asked yourself those questions as well?  The answers usually help us make New Years Resolutions so here, in writing, is one of mine.  I’m going try to be more organized, more often.
