You might remember my rants on inconsiderate parents, pet owners who don't take responsibility, and folks who can't even be bothered to put their shopping carts back where they belong (wow, I rant a lot!). So how about something to make us feel good for a change?
What started as a one-man mission to help Ocean County's homelessness victims rebuild their lives has grown into a nonprofit organization reaching throughout New Jersey and beyond - and the 85-year-old founder has gotten new energy for his mission with a $5,000 award.
Great community event honoring Dick Gabriel
We are proud to host a golf outing in memory of Dick Gabriel. He was a friend to so many, a loving son, brother, uncle, father and husband. Kevin Williams said it best on his radio program the day after Dick passed away, "He was one of the good guys"!
Over the last few months we have covered the story of 12 year old Kyle McGetrick a number of times. This past weekend, hundreds in Barnegat came together to remember Kyle, others who have fallen victim to cancer, and those who are currently struggling with cancer.
We love our High School mascots, bands and sports teams! School Spirit is all over the Shore and I'm so proud of that. Teachers, Parents and all the kids are a huge part of that. GO TEAM! Yay!
