Snow storms in Jersey bring with them a ton of issues from the roads being a mess, traffic accidents increasing, and of course, thousands of people losing their power.
New Jersey is the only state where it is against the law to pump your own gas. Strangely, the people who are paid to pump our gas do not have to have any special training or license to pump gas.
So why are so many South Jersey towns on that list? One could guess that the unemployment rate in the region as well as the low wages for those who are employed. There's a lot of pain in South Jersey.
