A rash of break-in burglaries in Manchester's Pine Lake Park section have homeowners on edge and police on alert. Based on witness descriptions, police have developed a composite sketch and they're asking anyone who recognizes him to step up.
If your Sandy-damaged home was looted before you could return to it, and the burglary suspect captured by Brick Township police Monday looks familiar, investigators want to hear from you.
Under current New Jersey law, all burglary offenses are third-degree crimes, unless a burglar was armed with an explosive or deadly weapon or had inflicted or threatened to inflict bodily injury on any victims.
Homes in Brick Township join a growing list of dwellings throughout Ocean County being looted in broad daylight, and the suspects remain outside the grasp of police in each community.
