Six years ago today the Jersey Shore was battling a crazy snowstorm as the Boxing Day Blizzard was getting underway here.

The storm on January 23 and 24 blanketed the state with two to three feet of snow and wind gusts of more than 50 mph.

With the storm that we had I've seen some weird things.

As I'm writing this at about 5pm, Ocean County's roads are a slushy mess. While the worst of the storm is yet to come, travel is already becoming dangerous.
