After what felt like a year of doom and gloom, it feels good to be able to breathe in the Jersey Shore air…without a mask. Depending on the tide, it should smell better than our own breath.
Let me make it clear before all hell breaks loose, at the Jersey Shore we call it Pork Roll, not Taylor Ham. I say, Pork Roll, my sisters say, Pork Roll, my parents say, Pork Roll. Everyone I know says, Pork Roll, besides my goofball North Jersey buddy who takes pride in saying, Taylor Ham. He's also one of those people who think Monmouth County is in South Jersey. "North Jersey Matt" is one of my best friends but he's also an idiot! Yes, I will make sure he gets the link to this article...
Every time I log onto Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter I see foxes. They're running the beach, bright and beautifully colored, and being trailed by pups. It is quite the sight, generating (in total) thousands of likes, comments, and shares. Of course, I thought I'd share some with you. PS - The fox above is a stock image. You need to see some of the real Jersey Shore foxes!
You finally get the perfect day. It's not too hot, the ocean is warm and you're off to your spot on the beach. You're looking forward to a nice, relaxing peaceful day when one of these things happens.
With Summer approaching and beaches getting ready to open, there's an important message that needs to be said to those who sit too close to others at the Jersey Shore.
When I think of our boardwalks I think of great pizza, games and rides...maybe even a new pet hermit crab but getting vaccinated? It may happen and it may not be a bad idea. A Republican New Jersey assemblyman Ronald S. Dancer wants extra COVID testing and vaccination sites at the Jersey Shore this summer.
My husband Tony and I were just saying it's not Summer until we're sitting outside looking at the ocean and shooting down fresh raw clams and oysters covered in hot sauce at the Jersey Shore! We eat em' all and there are so many places to get your fix! I'm sooooo ready for a glass of vino and my fresh catch! Do you love them too? Even my kids are on board!
Surely you've heard the term "beach bunny" haven't you? Well that's because the Easter Bunny LOVES the Jersey Shore! He's comin' to town and he wants us all to join him on some of his most delightful stops! I was able to get a hold of the Easter Bunny's secretary and she was kind enough to give me his itinerary. Here is where you can spot the big guy and have some Easter fun!
