We are collecting school supplies for Ocean County Children and we are kicking it off this Sunday, August 21st from 11-1 pm at the Shop-Rite in Waretown! Stop by and make a donation of ANY school supplies, it all adds up to help kids get "Back To School"...

92.7 WOBM's 'Stuff A Bus' is back!  Shawn Michaels, Sue Moll, and the entire WOBM Hometown Crew kicked off 'Stuff A Bus' on Sunday, August 21st at ShopRite on Route 9 in Waretown.

I hate talking as if summer is over, but I'll have to face the fact soon that we're in the last few weeks of vacation season, and it's time to start checking things off of the back to school to do list!

My first year out of college I realized something that I had never thought much about before - without school, summer is totally different.

Obviously we play commercials for a lot of different businesses promoting their stores, products, and sales here at the radio station. But there was one in particular that stuck out to me over a week ago - a commercial for a back to school sale.

Labor Day, which is celebrated on the first Monday of September, fell on the latest possible date (September 7th). As a result, several school districts across Ocean County have opted to open their doors for students before the Labor Day holiday. So what do you think? Should school start before or after Labor Day at the Jersey Shore?
