Making Strides Walk 2019 in Point Pleasant Beach .... It was once again an honor for us to be involved with the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk with the American Cancer Society. Thousands gathered Sunday in Point Pleasant Beach for the annual fundraiser which will raise an estimated one million dollars.

This Sunday, October 20th marks the 25th Anniversary of Making Strides - Point Pleasant and over 20,000 people are expected to take part and raise over one million dollars in the battle against breast cancer.
I was an honor once again for Sue and I to Host the Pre-Walk Opening Ceremony and we were once again blown away by the thousands who participated and we thank you for all your hard work in the battle against this dreaded disease.
"All breast cancer survivors and a caregiver are encouraged to visit the Survivor Tent. Survivors will receive their 2018 survivor shirt, enjoy some special surprises, and be recognized and celebrated. We will also have a special activity for survivors. It's a super busy weekend for "Relay for Life" with the American Cancer Society this weekend here in Ocean & Monmouth Counties and YOU can be a part of this great fundraiser! Brick, Howell, Tinton Falls, Toms River, Berkeley-Lacey and Middletown all Hosting "Relay for Life" events this weekend.
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. These events bring communities together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers and raise funds to help the ACS make a global impact on cancer. Team members take turns walking around a track or designated path. Each event is 6-24 hours in length and each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps.
