Adam Lambert will take over lead vocals as Queen hits the road this Summer

There have been plenty of times in music history where bands have replaced members. Some high profile examples are the Peter Gabriel/Phil Collins swap with Genesis and the David Lee Roth/Sammy Hagar swap with Van Halen.

Adam Lambert is a busy guy these days. Not only is he putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album Trespassing, but he also swung by our Townsquare Media offices earlier today for an intimate, acoustic performance and was kind enough to take a few minutes to chat with me.

Update: Adam Lambert took to Twitter shortly after these reports came out last week to deny that he will be touring with Queen. Word is still circulating that he'll play with the remaining members at England's Sonisphere festival this Summer, but a full fledged tour may not be in the cards.
