2,700 individual dosage units of heroin, a loaded gun, and $6,000 in drug proceeds were found inside the Lakewood home of a suspected drug dealer, announced Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato Monday.

23-year-old Virgilio Lopez-Olivera of 580 Marc Drive was arrested Saturday after a month long multi agency investigation into drug activity in Ocean County.

Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Special Operations Group, Southern Enforcement Unit conducted a cooperative multi agency drug investigation with the Barnegat Township Police Department, Ocean Township Police Department, Jackson Township Police Department, the Lakewood Township Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department raided Lopez-Olivera's home after detectives obtained a no knock search warrant, according to Coronato.

Authorities also seized a 2012 Chevrolet Cruz identified as being used to facilitate the drug distribution activities of Lopez-Olivera.

Lopez-Olivera was charged with three counts of Possession of Heroin, two counts of Possession of Heroin under one half ounce with Intent to Distribute, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a Controlled Dangerous Substance offense, one count of unlawful possession of a firearm, one count of distribution of heroin and one count of possession of heroin over one half ounce with intent to distribute.

The Honorable Superior Court Judge Patricia Roe JSC set bail at $300,000 cash for Lopez-Olivera who was being held in the Ocean County Jail
