Social media helped lead to the arrest of two people suspected of stealing more than $650 worth of items from the Radio Shack on Brick Boulevard in Brick Township earlier this month, according to police.

33-year-old Adrienne Mazzuca and 35-year-old Edwin Hernandez, both residents of Brick, were arrested in Seaside Heights and charged with shoplifting in the December 23rd incident, according to The Patch.

Police posted photos video surveillance images of the pair on the department's Facebook page Monday and said tips from the public helped lead to the arrests.

The items reported stolen included a Harman JBL Flip 3 portable speaker, Beats Studio Wireless headphones, and a set of Power Beats 2 wireless headphones, according to the police department’s Facebook page.

The Patch reports, Mazzuca had outstanding warrants against her, and also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Hernandez was charged with hindering apprehension.
