It was only three days ago that I was bemoaning the heat and humidity that Mother Nature has been subjecting us to so far this summer. And then, wouldn't you know, the temperatures took a nose dive.

If you ask me, the perfect summer weather is mid-70s to low 80s and low humidity during the day, and nice cool 60s or so at night. But of course we can't always get what we want. And for much of the last 3+ weeks we've been dealing with temperatures into the 90s and even flirting with 100 here and there. Plus that humidity has been brutal.

Of course, the day after I post a story about the heat and humidity, we get a curveball with temperatures falling nearly 30 degrees from where they have been, and people breaking out their jeans and jackets.

On a positive note, last night was a great night to crack a bedroom window and sleep under the covers.

On the negative side, we don't know what to expect any more!

I'm still holding out hope for a few of those warm, low humidity days. But, in the meantime I'll still be glad it's not snowing!
