Summer is Coming and so is Summer Help

We've come to the time of year where people start looking for jobs for the summer.  Part time, full time or just wanting to work with your friends, we live in a great location for that.  From boardwalks to lifeguards to scooping ice cream, there is something at the Jersey Shore for everyone.

Living here, Memorial Day to Labor Day is a huge tourist attraction and local businesses need all the help they can get. If you haven't secured a job or even worse haven't even started to look yet, you need to get on that as soon as possible because most businesses are starting to hire for summer help now. You may be in luck as the Seaside Heights Job Fair will be happening this weekend.

Do you remember your first job? Do you remembered that first day of work?

I remember mine like it was yesterday. I scooped ice cream at a local ice cream shop for 6 summers and had the time of my life.  Made great friends with my co workers and even the customers.  Serving the "regulars" day after day was always a joy as I got to know them over the years, but even serving the tourists was always entertaining.  Working a summer at the Jersey Shore can be very hectic but also something everyone should do at least once while living here.
