One of the side effects of the superstorm is the massive number of recreational vessels that were tossed onto land or sunk in Barnegat Bay or the Atlantic Ocean. Many of them are still unclaimed.

New Jersey State Police urges all boat owners or insurance carriers trying to find lost or abandoned vessels to reach their Point Pleasant station for information.
